Does your child love being creative?

Local artist and creative workshop tutor Grace Coombes will be running a weekly after school art club starting in January 2025 at Tavistock Library.

Children will get to explore many different art forms with lots of freedom for creative play. The art club will encouraged confidence in the children’s creativity whilst allowing each child to try out artistic processes that they may not have access to at home or school.

Each of the 6 sessions will look at a variety of art practices Including printmaking, collage, drawing, and mixed media. The sessions will have a frame work for the children to follow but each child will be given freedom to explore different making processes at their own pace. The art club will offer a relaxed environment for the children to enjoy being creative after a busy day at school.

We will do a little exhibition of the children’s artwork at the end of each term.

All materials will be provided. Please make sure children have a drink and snack to bring with them.
